The Power of Gratitude

Gratitude is something I’ve been writing a lot about for my book: Gift Mindset.

And my guest today was the first person I thought of when I wanted to do an interview with someone that comes from a place of gratitude, who leads through gratitude, and I think embodies what gratitude is.

Being in gratitude and appreciating the things that we do have versus the things that we don't have I think as a leader in any role or as a business owner, or even life in general – is such an important thing to do and helps us to be and not just do.

Joining me on today’s show is Claire Summers.

Claire is the Founder of Gratitude Glass Jars.

After experiencing a series of deeply traumatic life experiences within a seven-month period, the last of which nearly took her life, Claire created the gratitude glass jar as a visual tool to help herself heal by capturing daily notes of gratitude that enabled her to rebuild herself and open her heart once more.

She decided (or dared) to try out a trade show as a sole exhibitor in the summer of 2017 in New York, where she won the award for the best product for gifts and lifestyle and was hand-selected by the team at Oprah, for consideration within Oprah's favourite thing within eight weeks of launching.

Onstage with Oprah Winfrey sharing her story, it became the number one selling product on Amazon and appeared on endless TV spots and media across the globe.

Gratitude Glass Jars has developed into a lifestyle brand with an assortment of products that encourage people to pause, share their stories, and inspire others. The movement is global glass jars are all about capturing the spirit of living, celebrating life events, sharing memories, and expressing words of love.

On the show, Claire speaks about The Power of Gratitude, including:

  • What gratitude means to her;
  • A different perspective on gratitude;
  • Separating gratitude from wants, and much more
